Already buying membership and want to pay extra

If you are buying extra membership, or paying Additional Regular Contributions (ARCs), you can still buy extra LGPS pension. You can pay Additional Pension Contributions (APCs). Find out about APCs

Before 1 April 2008, members were able to opt to buy extra LGPS membership. This is known as added years. If you are already paying extra contributions to buy extra membership, you continue to pay for them and receive extra benefits on the same basis that you agreed to buy them. Find out what happens if you are paying for added years and leave or retire
